Porters of Woking are amazing!! I highly recommend them for your house move. I had never used a removal company before and got their name recommended to me to start. Everything was made easy from the start, contacting them for a quote, any calls needed to share information or ask questions and the guys that came the day before to pack and move on the day were incredible! They did everything and did it so well. Our house and belongings were treated with so much care and even little thoughtful details were considered. The packing and removals guys worked so, so hard! (They surely deserve to have a massage included at the end of their busy days 😊)
They made sure all boxes and belongings were exactly where we wanted them, beds and wardrobes were all put back together and where we wanted them before they left for the day.

We recently moved from Guildford to Bisley. Wow! What excellent service from Nick who came to do the quote to the moving team who were helpful , friendly and very efficient. From the team packing up our house to moving us to our new house to collecting the boxes a few days later it was definitely a stress free move. Can highly recommend.
If you are thinking of moving look no further than this company. They were absolutely amazing. They turned up on time then swiftly and professionally removed everything from the house with the ultimate respect for carpets and walls to make sure that nothing was dirtied or damaged. Completion on the new house took forever and we had a four hour wait to get in. By now time was getting on and they must have had more than enough of sitting around waiting for the nod that we could get in. They unloaded that lorry and still although they must have been sick of the sight of us moved everything in again making sure that no mess was made and all of this done at breakneck speed with everything put into the correct rooms and still with a smile. The price they charged was extremely competitive and can honestly say the service was second to none.

Very pleased with the service. Sandy came round to give a quote, he was very chatty and friendly. On the day of the move the team arrived bright and early and introduced themselves each by name with a handshake. It was a hot day, they ploughed through the removal. It was a pretty straightforward completion with not much waiting around. The team unloaded my stuff swiftly and put everything where it needed to be. They even put my bedroom furniture in sensible places without my instruction, so much so that I think thats where I'll leave them! Nothing appears to be damaged or missing. I can wholeheartedly recommend his company for a swift, friendly, safe move

Today the move of our property and possessions from 61 Norwood Road in Effingham went extremely smoothly.
I would be grateful if you would pass on our thanks to your 2 colleagues who made this happen so well.
I would also like to thank you for your patience and humour towards what should have been a comparatively simple move but instead experienced quite a few vagaries. We appreciated this very much, as not only was it a house move which is one of the most stressful occasions in life, but the move was from the family home where my parents had lived for many years, with all the memories and emotions which come to bear.
We also appreciated the flexibility your company offered us in terms of possible storage when the situation was not so clear

Dean Nick and Sandy, just a quick note to thank everyone involved in our move here last Thursday everyone worked so hard and it was completed so quickly. The team were ably led by Stuart who was exemplary. We are slowly getting through the boxes and are flattening them ready for return but I wonder whether you need the wrapping paper as well? If so we can put that aside as weIl.

Removal to Norfolk.
We moved on the hottest day of the year and I cannot speak highly enough of the removal team. They packed efficiently, never stopping until everything was packed and once in Swaffham, Norfolk with temperatures in the high 30s they worked just as hard until everything was safely unpacked.
They had issues getting one of the beds upstairs but they dismantled it and reassembled it in the correct bedroom.
Everything was placed in the correct place and the men were unfailingly cheerful despite the heat.
We would definitely recommend Porters.

We have made great in roads on the unpacking wondered when the hanging rails, packing blankets and boxes might be collected - I appreciate it needs to co-ordinate with another job but would be keen to agree a date

In this age we seem to be in where complaining comes fast and thanks come slowly, if at all, I thought I would write an old-fashioned letter to say how very pleased both my husband and myself were with the move that you effected for us last week.
Your guys were polite and courteous and mode on excellent job of the pocking. We have now unpacked anything thot could possibly have broken and I can confirm that nothing did!!
I would also like to thank the team for all the leg work they had to put in at the Sutton end, 2 floors up and no lift! I know this is their job and it's what they get paid for, but I feel that some extra appreciative thanks never go amiss!
